Learner Profile attribute that was focused this week was Reflective. Students gave thoughtful consideration to their own learning and personal development. They were able to analyze their strengths and weaknesses in a constructive way.
Learner Profile attribute that will be focus next week will be Inquirer and reflective. Students will acquire the skills necessary to conduct constructive inquiry and research, and will become independent active learners.They will give thoughtful consideration to their own learning and personal development. They will be able to analyze their strengths and weaknesses in a constructive way.

Vocabulary:
Vocabulary building activities were done.
Speaking:
Students described their peer and spoke about what stands out in their identity.
Reading:
Author study was continued.
Task cards were done.
Homework:
Design a card inviting  your friends to your birthday party.

LEARNING ENGAGEMENTS.

Students did ‘Who I Am’ activity and wrote about their identity.

Students did ‘Iceberg of me’ activity which was followed by a class discussion.

Students did ‘Ten times two’ activity and wrote their understanding based on the picture.




Homework:

Make a collage of words and images that define you.

Students worked on google docs they learnt to insert pictures and shared with their friends.

Students did portfolio work.

Dodgeball & handball play.

Students sketched their favourite cartoon character,described it, connect it to  the learner profile attributes and shared with their peers.
