Learner Profile attribute
Dear parents
The learner profile attribute concentrated upon this week was “knowledgeable”.
Encourage your child to be open-minded and accept others opinion. Appreciate small acts of care shown by kids.
  • Students took grammar and writing assessments.
  • Revision of adjectives done.
  • Children learnt about different action commands, spoken commands, phonics words and rhyme “I am just like you”.  
Complete story comprehension sent home. The story was read in the class.
Students learned days of the week in urdu and the did practice of letters( haroof-e-tahaji) from alif to badi ye and two letter words in the practice book.

Do the given homework in practice book and prepare for the assessment.
Revision of topics that will be covered in assessment.
Prepare for assessment to be held next week
Students took summative assessments in all the topics covered so far in math.
Children learnt about symmetry and line of symmetry and observed cutouts of symmetrical halve in a mirror to form a whole. They also tried cutting out symmetrical patterns.

  • How homes reflect family values (connection)
  • How homes reflect local culture
  • Factors that determine where people live
Classroom activities
  • Students reflected on their trip to Shilparamam and drew the images of different types of homes they across during the field trip.
  • Children brainstormed and made a mind map of the parts of a house.
  • They also sorted out pictures of different objects as per their belonging to a part of a house  
  • They watched video on different types of home.
Complete worksheet sent as homework
Students explored the meaning of terms like input, process and output. They also learned about different storage devices and amount of data they hold.

Students made models of homes with paper (net houses)

Students played different games as a team

Students watched videos of different types of houses and wrote new words learned from the video.
