This week we concentrated on “communicator” and “knowledgeable” attributes of the learner profiles

Recapitulation of compound words done this week.
Revision of “primer” words from the Dolch list.
Students learnt new action commands and spoken commands from session 30.
Homework worksheet sent
Students learn about transportation in urdu they saw the picture and real life objects and relate them with letters they also identified the half letters from the words given.
They learn haroof-e-illat alif, wow, choti ye and badi and did practice with alif in practice book.
Write haroof-e-illat with letter alif  in practice book
No class
Hands on activities done in order to get a better idea of 2D shapes (pentagon, hexagon, heptagon and octagon).
Students also played an online quiz to show their understanding of addition and shapes.
Homework worksheet given.
Central idea:  Communities make efforts to create transportation systems that meet their needs

  • Features of transportation systems
  • Decisions involved in using transportation
  • How systems of transportation respond to changing needs

Classroom activities
  • Revised and discussed worksheet given as homework before sankranti break.
  • Students discussed “Traffic rules” and watched videos on the same.
  • Students watched videos of old hyderabad and future cars (brainstormed on how systems have changed and keep changing to cater to changing needs).

Students watched videos explaining uses of computer and laptop in daily life, They were then divided into groups and questioned on the same.

Students learned to make origami rockets and aeroplane with paper .
Send one old CD.
Sports Day games, drill and parade practice stage two.

Students watched “ peppa pig - transport” episodes
